Rocky Mountain PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) is seeking a part time Physical Therapist Assistant. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program; current PTA license is preferred but not required. Candidate must have a minimum of one year experience working with the elderly population. Candidate must be skilled in the use and maintenance of physical therapy equipment. Duties include, but are not limited to: assist the Physical Therapist in facilitating treatment to PACE Participants, (i.e., exercises, massages, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction, ultrasound, etc.)
The physical demands of this job include, but are not limited to: the ability to lift/carry up to 65 pounds and push or pull objects exceeding 150 pounds; standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling and reaching at arm’s length for prolonged periods of time; working under stressful conditions.
Must have excellent communication and documentation skills and enjoy working with computers. Candidate must be willing to submit to a drug screen, background check and check of driving history.
No weekends and no holidays!
Position is part time, 30 hours per week. Benefits include: company paid Vision and Short Term Disability/Term Life; Medical and Dental coverage is paid by the company at 1/2 monthly rate. 403B and AFLAC also available. Salary: $23.00 per hour
