Senior Financial Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY: Support Assistant Controller in a leadership role in all aspects of analysis and planning, including operational analysis, short-term and interim forecasts, and three-year strategic plans. Key interface with senior management and operating company management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Coordinate review and analysis of Corporate and operating company asset management measures, including working capital efficiency, RONTA, ROE and ROIC. 2. Review monthly operating company results and prepare analyses of results (income statement, balance sheet, asset management and cash flow), including clear, concise written summaries. 3. Periodically update and review incentive compensation measures for Corporate and all operating companies. 4. Review and analyze financial and strategic plan submissions. 5. Coordinate competitive/peer company analysis. 6. Assist in review of FX analysis, CFO Board presentations, EPS forecasts, quarterly conference call information. 7. Assist in support of Investor
Relations. 8. Responsible for a variety of special projects and ad hoc analyses, as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Accounting with 7 to 10 years of analysis experience. CPA and/or MBA preferred. Requires strong analytical, leadership, organizational, skills and business perspective in addition to detail orientation. Possess a high level of competency with spreadsheet programs and complex model development, particularly in Excel. Acumen in preparation and analysis of cash flow statements required.
